Greetings in the loving name of our Lord and saviour Amen. The write-up being presented to you is a reflection from the QCM as regards all the activities that have so far been attained as from 2023 to date.

The office is under a good relational standard under the leadership of Pst. Emmily Ndei as the National co-ordinator of this department.

This Year’s Triennal conference will be held in Central Yearly meeting as from 27th November to 1st December 2024. Text is derived from Genesis 18:19 with the Theme “chosen to direct a generation” which will be explored by Pst. George Apollo Situma. Other thrilling topics will also be addressed by other potential speakers drawn from our Yearly Meeting leaderships. other fundamental logistics will be communicated.

QCM Activities

The following are the activities realized so far:-

This department has held several retreat and overnight meetings in various Yearly Meetings which has been done on merry –go- round basis. This meetings have been hosted I the following meetings, Malava ,Elgon East ,chavakali and others arecstill to be concluded as the year goes by.

Training of teachers at level 1 and 2 in Yearly meeting are on course, where National QC M sends overseers to facilitate this essential program.

General ,Executive and General board meetings are being conducted as planned on the calendar of events 2024-2025.

Teachers and leaders retreat will be conducted in Kamusinga Y/M later in the year this will focus on the growth of this ministry to enrich her members to the next level.

An introduction of new lessons in the curriculum include, Trauma Healing, Alternative to Violence Program, AWANA and Quaker Faith and practice have also been effected to give a full reflection of Friends church in and outside the Christian spheres.

This department has also extended a hand of help to a student pursuing his Theological studies at FTC Kaimosi by the name Daniel and we still need others to join this chariot by at least supporting with any kind of support so that this young man achieves his dreams of pastoral service .

All Yearly meetings are hereby reminded to clear their budgets as scheduled in the news letters that has been so far sent to all our respective meetings for action , kindly co-operate so as we can grow.

The plot in Matete is eying for our support to raise at least a project will be a milestone to FCK Development agenda as other churches do. Let’s be positive towards this realization.
